What I love about being a dentist is that it gives me the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life. Through them, I have learned so much, not only about peoples’ lives and values but also about myself. I am enriched each day by my interactions with patients and staff in so many ways. I look forward to getting to know my patients and what is important to them and helping them achieve their goals for their dental health. In order to truly serve my patients well, I appreciate the importance of keeping up with new advances in dentistry. People are often surprised to know how much dentistry is constantly evolving! But what I have learned is that every day is a new opportunity to be better than yesterday. I am excited to be actively engaged in this process and am constantly looking at ways to incorporate new technologies and materials that make for better patient experience, comfort, and better quality dentistry.”
Dr. Mahale graduated from dental school in 2008 from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Shortly after she was part of a modern technology-driven practice in Fargo ND for 9 years. She lives in Charlotte with her husband and her 6-year-old dog Dobby. In her free time, Dr. Mahale loves cooking, baking, watching movies, traveling, and hanging out with her friends and family.
Dr. Mahale is committed to continued growth both in her knowledge and hand skills and in this quest, she has consistently participated in hundreds of hours of continuing education courses in Orthodontics, Facial Generated Treatment Planning, Root Canal Therapy, Cosmetic Dentistry, and implants.
Dr. Ashley Fasone, DDS
Fort Mill, SC is the place Dr. Ashley Fasone calls home. As a result, she is very proud to be using her education, experience, and talent to help her friends, family, and neighbors smile. For her, the best thing about her job is being able to restore function and give her patients the smiles they’ve always wanted. She genuinely looks forward to getting to know her patients and spending time with them during their visits.
Because no one in Dr. Ashley Fasone’s family is a dentist, she didn’t seriously consider the career until high school. Her dentist at the time inspired her to learn more about dentistry, so she explored it more when she went to college through office shadowing and mission trips. Long story short: she fell in love with the profession and hasn’t looked back since!
First, Dr. Ashley Fasone attended the College of Charleston. Before she attended dental school, she worked as a dental assistant – Dr. Chougule’s dental assistant! She then earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina, making her dream of becoming a dentist a reality. Throughout her time in dental school, she was actively involved in the American Dental Association, which is where she underwent continuing education in dental photography, sleep apnea, intraoral scanners, CAD/CAM dentistry, and more.
To further perfect her craft, she maintains an active membership with the following organizations:

- Academy of General Dentistry
Dr. Ashley Fasone has some exciting news to share: she’s engaged! She loves spending time with her family, including her twin sister. Some of her other favorite ways to spend her free time are traveling, trying new restaurants, watching reality TV, and obsessing over all things Disney. She has even spent her time outside the office volunteering in outreach clinics that provide patients with low cost or free dental care – something she finds very rewarding.
